Hydraulink - New Home and Hosed!

The Rt Hon John Key officially opened Hydraulink’s brand new Head office and distribution centre in Penrose on February 13th. Mr Key noted it “was the first time he had ever been asked to cut a hose to open a building”. He also commented that it was NZ companies like Hydraulink that provide essential services to NZ industry that assisted to help NZ continue to grow and prosper.

Hydraulink’s main business involves the supply and service of hydraulic hose, fittings and related services through a network of Branches, Distributors and Mobile Technicians throughout New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands. Hydraulink’s new facility at 21 O’Rorke Rd, Penrose has tripled their warehousing capacity and sets the company up for some ambitious growth strategies over the next 5 years.

Co-owner Lee Short believes the new purpose built facility provides the perfect base for Hydraulink to begin its next growth phase (Lee Short and Noel Davies have jointly owned the business for nearly 25 years) and he also commented on the past strength of the business has come from a fantastic and loyal customer base and a dedicated team (the company currently employees close to 100 people throughout NZ).
